Infographics

Wow what an interesting tool to use.  I picked a simple enough subject for our Social Studies unit this week on the branches of government, but the whole time I was working on this all I could think of was the hundreds of other ideas I had for using infographics in my classroom.  What a great concept this is for something as simple as anchor charts!  The tool can be eye-catching and relevant at the same time and the limited space means you can't add a ton of information, just the key ideas and topics.

(Please note the picture below is not my infographic, just an added visual for my blog since my infographic won't seem to paste as picture here...)

  1. I was also thinking of all the possibilities that the infographic could be used for (after I figured out what I was doing). I may have to use your infographic when I do the branches of government with my students. In the past I have had them create a branches of government poster at the end of the unit, but this would be a great alternative!
