This is something I'm a little unsure of. I created my video with Photo Story 3, which I had seen students used before and was impressed with their work, and I figured I would use this tool since it seemed more user friendly than other tools I've used in the past. I've had a lot of experience making videos for weddings, birthdays, etc. but something about having to maybe hear myself narrate? bothered me just a little. I think Photo Story is a great tool for younger students to use, and I'm glad that I used it so I have a finished product similar to what I would expect them to produce, but overall the tool as a video creation tool wasn't one of the better one's I've used. Anyway.....
I have to say, I too, wasn't excited to record my voice. But, as I practiced and got used to it, I liked how I could change my tone and volume to reflect what I wanted to express. Even better yet, I could go back and revise whatever I wanted. My children got to experience the same process and did a great job deciphering if they thought their reading was good or if they wanted to change it.
